Biden: WikiLeaks has put lives in danger

Vice President Joe Biden said today that the Justice Department is looking at possible charges against WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, and that his disclosures of classified material have endangered lives and "done damage" to U.S. diplomacy.

"Look, this guy has done things that have damaged and put in jeopardy the lives and occupations of people in other parts of the world," Biden said on NBC's Meet The Press.

Biden also said that Assange and WikiLeaks have "made it more difficult for us to conduct our business with our allies and our friends," and he cited his own meetings with world leaders.

"There is a desire now to meet with me alone rather than have staff in the room," Biden said. "It makes things more cumbersome. So it has done damage."
